Sad story in Simpletown

He learned that that he would get into trouble
If there was something he wanted, and needed, or wanted rightly
And it involved not only tasks or money
But other people. For
If things went badly, and they often did,
The others would not even let him continue trying,
And he had no way with them.
There was no way.
(For such cause, will some go and get a religion.
Would you prefer, what, a politics?)

Sooner or later, usually sooner, they would just say -
take your pick:
That he must be a criminal,
That he must be crazy, sick,
That he must be immature.
Must be.
What else is to be said?

If something goes wrong,
Someone is in the wrong.
If we are here, now, with what is going on,
We are in it - somehow,
In the shit - who is it?

Everyone knows, we can see this.
Use whatever pronoun you like.
They’ ve been liberated, you know.

While persons who might not only be something, whatever, they
Might want something, whatever.
And then you have got lack and problems.
Who is to blame, to name, in the game.
It’s all the same.

”Why are you so wrong,
that I must hate you so?”

He noticed that some people just take what comes,
And they rarely have such troubles.
So is that the answer?

Yes, Buddha says, want nothing, you won’t be disappointed.
You wouldn’t even think something like this.
You wouldn’t even write something like this.
You wouldn’t even read something like this.
So there you are.
