What "mental health services" are really about

"Mental health services" have two purposes:

1) to control people, by making them see a kind of probation officer who drugs them and reports, in a document available to police and other authorities, on their presumptively criminal dispositions. The following is also part of this social control, as it is always wielded as the institution's potentiality and thus threat.

2) to punish and harass people by incarcerating them. This functions by destroying the person's world, that of everything in which they meaningfully and autonomously participate, in order to replace it with a hypothetically psycho-medically cleansed (compare ethnic cleansing and uses of concentration camps and prisons) total subject of power whose subjectivity is reduced in a way that approximates to a zero point of autonomous potentiality and cultivated personality, so that it is docile and welcoming towards the imposition and effects of social power. (See first item above).
